These cases involve federal robbery statutes rather than California robbery sentencing. The Hobbs Act, 18 U.S.C. §1951, covers robbery affecting interstate commerce. One reviewed case involves robbery of United States property. Some cases also include a separate firearm conviction under 18 U.S.C. §924(c).
Federal Counts and Sentence Scope
The reported pleas involve different federal provisions, and Mijanovic and Bland also pleaded to firearm brandishing. Federal Case 1: Colin Powell Lacey
The March 17, 2023 release reports that day’s 77 months after an August 2022 plea to one Hobbs Act robbery-conspiracy count. Mid-City and Hollywood robberies are described alongside West Hollywood conduct and an El Segundo attempt; the term covers the conspiracy, not an isolated Los Angeles incident. Williams’s related multi-count disposition is not a new independent prosecution or directly comparable conspiracy-only allocation.
Federal Case 2: Myron Crosby
The November 25, 2019 release reports that day’s 97 months and $110,221 restitution after an August 19 plea to one U.S.-property-robbery count. The February 1, 2018 truck robbery occurred just outside Wagner Post Office near the Inglewood boundary. The March 1 robbery targeted a truck exiting the southbound 110 Freeway at Slauson Avenue; Dockweiler was the planned target, not the reported attack point. Independent municipal-point proof and the individual incident-to-count mapping remain unverified. Restitution is not additional prison time.
Federal Case 3: Namir Malik Ali Greene
The November 29, 2023 release reports that day’s 120 months and $17,084 restitution after a September 23 plea to one Hobbs Act robbery count. It describes a BB gun, not a separately established firearm-brandishing conviction. The April 4 robbery in Marina del Rey is described specifically; South Los Angeles appears among other spree locations without an exact incident address. The term is not reassigned to a verified city-only event.
Federal Case 4: Stevo Mijanovic
The July 31, 2023 release reports that day’s 180 months and $2,733 restitution after a March 6 plea to two Hobbs Act robbery counts and one firearm-brandishing count. It describes six Wilmington-area businesses, two other businesses in San Pedro and Torrance, and an attempted robbery in San Pedro. It does not state that two completed robberies both occurred in San Pedro. The multi-count, multi-city total is not allocated to an individual robbery or increased again by a firearm minimum.
Federal Case 5: Antonio Lamar Bland
The February 26, 2026 release reports that day’s 199 months and $17,829 restitution after November 2025 pleas to one Hobbs Act robbery and one firearm-brandishing count. It describes North Hollywood, Van Nuys and Los Angeles along with other cities during January 29–February 14, 2024. Count allocation is not supplied. Tucker and Luckey’s pleas and pending sentencing in that release are not additional completed independent prosecutions; their later outcomes are not established here.
Why Were the Sentences Different?
The releases describe different conviction and geographic scopes but do not establish why one court selected a longer term. Multi-city, multi-count and conspiracy results are not comparable city-only robbery allocations.
