Baltimore First-Degree Murder Sentences and Case Outcomes

Three selected Baltimore first-degree-murder reports describe differently scoped outcomes: Dejuan Cole’s life sentence with all but 30 years suspended; Pablo Agosto Acevedo’s life-plus-38-year combined total; and Quontay Spinks’s life sentence covering this homicide and other pleaded cases. The agency releases do not provide a common murder-count allocation for all three, and no numerical range is calculated.

Evidence scope: Three defendants and three named homicide episodes are represented; Spinks’s additional pleaded cases are not counted as extra independent homicide clusters. Cole’s first five years of parole ineligibility is separate from the30 unsuspended years. Street addresses and agency context do not supply independent municipal-boundary proof for every point. Acevedo’s release summary dates the killing November 2, 2023 while its detailed narrative refers to November 1; the exact-day inconsistency is not silently resolved. These selected records are not all Baltimore cases, an average, a typical punishment or a prediction. Relevant agency passages were reviewed September 28, 2026; a reported imposed sentence is not a claim that every appeal is exhausted.

How to read the outcomes

A target-count allocation may describe one count, while an aggregate term may cover multiple counts, enhancements, or proceedings. Aggregate totals are not converted into an isolated sentence for First-Degree Murder. No average or numerical citywide range is calculated.

The reported count structure, suspension and concurrency must be read separately. No unsupported explanation of a judge’s motive or a prediction of time actually served is inferred from the terms.
