Memphis Federal Hobbs Act Robbery Sentences and Case Outcomes

Knight’s 336-month robbery/firearm total and Mason’s 63-month robbery outcome belong to one prosecution, with different sentence dates. Moore’s 120 months cover three offenses. These individual terms are not one combined punishment or a comparable Hobbs Act citywide range.

These selected records represent two reported prosecution clusters, not two fully qualified comparable incorporated-city outcomes. Co-defendants, counts and incidents do not automatically add independent cases. Exact municipal-point, historical-law and complete later-outcome qualification remain open.

Federal Offense and Jurisdiction

This page keeps federal judgments separate from Tennessee state/local cases. The federal statutory reference is not automatically the historical version applicable to an older offense. No present-day numerical minimum or maximum is asserted.

Selected Reported Outcomes

Case Reported offense connection Imposed outcome and scope Source
Julius Knight Multiple reported Memphis business robberies, including Chelsea Avenue and Thomas Avenue restaurants 336 months prison, August 25, 2016. Scope: robbery counts and one firearm count; no isolated Hobbs allocation DOJ case account
Deidra Mason Getaway participation in the shared Memphis business-robbery prosecution 63 months prison, August 2, 2016. Scope: six aiding-and-abetting interstate-commerce robbery counts; no individual-count allocation DOJ case account
Marchello Moore Knight Arnold Road Family Dollar and Kirby Center Cove bank; municipal-point qualification open 120 months prison, January 8, 2016. Scope: bank/Hobbs/firearm-brandishing total; no Hobbs-only allocation DOJ case account

Knight and Mason: One Case, Individual Terms

The August 25, 2016 release dates Mason’s six-count aiding-and-abetting plea April and her sentence August 2. Knight’s May plea covered six aiding-and-abetting robbery counts, two additional robbery counts and one firearm count; his sentence was August 25. The 336 and 63 months belong to different defendants. The collective headline does not impose more than 390 months on either person. The same release describes May–June 2015 offenses and Knight’s additional restaurant robberies on June 3 and June 8; multiple incidents do not become separate prosecution clusters.

Moore: Shared Bank and Firearm Judgment

The January 8, 2016 release reports a September 2015 plea to bank robbery, interstate-commerce robbery and firearm brandishing, followed by a 120-month total. It supplies no separate Hobbs Act term. This is the same prosecution in our bank-robbery guide, not an additional independent case. Neither cited release gives a supervision term; none is inferred.

Reading Limits

Prison, federal supervised release and another defendant’s punishment are distinct. No average, typical result, prediction or release date is calculated. Relevant primary DOJ narratives were read September 28, 2026 UTC (September 29 in Istanbul); Moore’s earlier primary reading was reused. Focused official court/name searches did not establish a matched later change but are not exhaustive docket clearance. A street account or Memphis label still needs independent municipal-boundary qualification.

These selected reported records are not all Memphis cases, an average, a typical sentence or a prediction. Imposed terms and unsuspended portions do not establish time actually served or a release date. Read the case-selection methodology, editorial standards and Memphis sentencing hub.
