Memphis Federal Methamphetamine Trafficking Sentences and Case Outcomes

Michael Wilson’s 270-month drug/firearm total differs from Michael Jefferson’s 135-month possession-with-intent-to-distribute outcome. Wilson is described as a career offender with three conviction categories; the two figures are not endpoints of a citywide or ordinary methamphetamine range.

These two displayed records are a small selected reporting set, not two fully qualified comparable incorporated-city sentencing clusters. Multiple counts, properties, defendants and reports do not automatically add independent cases.

Wilson: Conspiracy and Two Firearm Categories

The April 13, 2026 release identifies a plea to conspiracy involving 500 grams or more of a methamphetamine mixture, felon-in-possession and firearm-in-furtherance offenses. It reports 270 months prison plus five years supervised release and a career-offender classification. It describes Memphis distribution but does not give the exact sentencing day, offense addresses or count-level allocation. A release date is not substituted for an unspecified judgment date.

Michael Jefferson: Airport Possession

The July 25, 2023 release dates Jefferson’s sentence July 20: 135 months prison plus three years supervised release after a possession-with-intent plea. It describes the March 26, 2022 seizure of about 12 kilograms at Memphis International Airport. The airport seizure is reported possession conduct, not an inferred completed distribution to a customer. This is Michael Jefferson, not Myshun Jefferson from the separate fentanyl/firearm case. An airport name still does not complete an independent municipal-boundary check.

How to read the outcomes

A target-count allocation may describe one count, while an aggregate term may cover multiple counts, enhancements, or proceedings. Aggregate totals are not converted into an isolated sentence for Federal Methamphetamine Trafficking. No average or numerical citywide range is calculated.

No average, typical sentence or prediction is made. Prison and federal supervised release are distinct; restitution and another defendant’s term are not additional prison time for an individual. Relevant agency passages were read September 28, 2026 UTC (September 29 in Istanbul). Bounded official court/name searches did not establish a matched later change for these records; that is not exhaustive docket clearance. Municipal-point, historical-law and complete later-outcome qualification remain open.
